Job Position(s)
Job Qualifications * Senior Civil/Structural Designers with a minimum of seven years industrial design experience.
* Competent in the use of AutoCAD
* Have experience with 3D structural modelling packages (e.g. Pro-Steel/Frameworks)
* Have at least two years experience in oil and gas, refinery or petrochemical industries
* Able to work in a design office environment with office systems
* Have the ability to produce accurate design work within time and budget constraints
* Possess knowledge of standards, codes and regulations applicable to a civil/structural designer
* Display excellent verbal and written skills
* Understands and follow the TW One Way HSE Framework & Woodside's Golden Safety Rules
Job Duties and Responsibilities * Carry out assigned discipline engineering activities within the team. Supervise and assist engineers as required with their tasks.
* Manage assigned work to meet project needs. Proactively work with other team members to ensure Project goals are met.
* Ensure technical integrity of work, consistency of work quality and that all work is carried out in accordance with applicable codes and standards, procedures and the basis of design.
* Ensure all interfaces (inter-dicipline, client, implementation, fabrication, vendor, etc) are identified and managed in the execution of all projects.
* Work proactively with the team to resolve issues
* Accept responsibility for scopes of work and manage delivery and change
* Responsible for personal safety and safety of others
* Provide input in improving HSE performance
* Demonstrate due diligence in managing hazards associated with work carried out
* Understand and apply Risk Management techniques to work undertaken
